Who provides the service

AI Coding Patterns (aicodingpatterns.com and learn.aicodingpatterns.com) is provided by Iván García Villar, a sole trader based in Norwich, United Kingdom. When you use the platform, your contract is with him. Contact: igarcia@sinapser.com.

By using the website or creating an account, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Purchases and payments

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle handles payment, applicable taxes, invoices and refunds, and your purchase is also governed by its buyer terms.

Paid courses are bought with a one-off payment, with no subscription or automatic renewal. The price of each course is shown before you pay.

What you buy

A purchase gives you personal, non-transferable access to the course within your account. You may not share your account or resell, copy or redistribute the content.

You will have access to the course for at least 2 years from purchase. If we withdraw it earlier, we will tell you by email and refund the proportional part of the price.

Acceptable use

You may not use the service for:

  • Any unlawful activity, fraud or spam.
  • Infringing our intellectual property or anyone else's.
  • Interfering with the security or operation of the service: malware, unauthorised probing, bulk content extraction (scraping) or accessing other people's accounts.

Intellectual property

Course content, text, exercises, design and the platform software belong to us or are used under licence. These terms do not give you any rights over them, other than the access described above.

Educational content

Courses and articles are for educational purposes. They cover artificial intelligence tools that change often and development practices you should adapt to your own case. We do our best to keep the content accurate, but it may contain errors or become outdated, and it is not a substitute for professional advice.

Service availability

We work to keep the platform running well, but we do not guarantee that it will always be available or error-free. We may carry out maintenance, change features or improve courses.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account for serious or repeated breaches of these terms, if a payment fails or is reversed, or if there is a security or fraud risk. Except in cases of fraud or security risk, we will warn you by email first. You can close your account at any time by writing to igarcia@sinapser.com.

Liability

If you use the service as a business or professional, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we will announce it on the website or by email. Purchases already made are governed by the terms in force at the time of purchase.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection given by the law of the country where you live and may bring a claim in its courts.
